I really can't think of a worse idea for game rules than using colored shapes with potentially a multiplier instead of... you know... a ****ing NUMBER. "It becomes very intuitive" Well no, it doesn't. It remains incredibly dumb.

This is a great box kit! Only drawback is the metal bits tossed in. Would prefer the variety and kitbashing potential of all plastic.

Pretty fast play once you get the hang of it. For me though it suffers from the same FOW/Team Yankee issue of tanks rowed up side by side. Shame. I like the models though.

Sometimes I do hand brush on priming not just figures but also on 1/72 and 1/76 vehicle models, btw how good was the adhesive of this primer brand? I’m currently using Army brand.

Dude. Someone drops a tank on it and your terrain becomes rubble. What kind of soft foam is this? How does it stand up to daily use?

You should check out a video that i did. It is a review of the first edition of CARDS & COBOLDS that i created. All of the world assets are mashed up into one rule in the dungeon master rule system. And that is where homebrew is allowed in the game. So you can play as yourself or make up your own character. You can make up spells, items, weapons, and all sorts of other things. I didn't want to go through all the trouble just building a world in its entirety, so i just went with the singular dungeon master/player system and the homebrew rule. This game is compatible with many ttrpgs of all genres. Im planning on publishing this some day.

Fantastic video - thank you. I’m currently developing my own board game/war game to play with my little boys. I started with a hero quest template, as that was something I remember as a boy being pretty accessible. But I’m building off of that core foundation, in order to get some depth. I play currently with either a backdrop setting of Warhammer fantasy OR W40k… and have miniatures that fit those archetypes. I’m currently developing the W40 K version. And wanting to pick up some rules with regards to advantages of suppressive fire. In order to get some tactical depth into the gameplay. So I was interested to see when a target is pinned. And what does that require? So this video is giving me lots of ideas.

You need to do a video on platoon building and the difference between troop types like enlisted and recruits. It's quite confusing. Especially when arming everybody.

How do you get through life wearing that watch like that?

This is a great teaching video. The pinning mechanic feels great. What is the thought behind rolling a 1 and the opponent gets to choose who activates? Seems to be a good mechanic, just not sure what it's supposed to represent.

Ty. It's something I've been trying to figure out for awhile now. Been sitting on these box sets since they came out. Have a young special needs child. Just now getting to the point where I can play again. I thought maybe I was having trouble because I've been away from the sport for awhile They are poorly done all around in my opinion. Did they edit this book at all. I'm hoping the arena type format of thr later stuff kinda negates some of these rules. I barely made it through high-school. Lol I can't math hard enough to play a table top game. Who are they making this for? Love thr models and thr terrain. BEen waiting for orky stuff for along time now. Ty for wrapping your head around this. You do a great job visualizing it for thr audience.

Thank you for the video, mate. It's the typical crappy Italeri kit quality but a very nice subject. I hope some of the better manufacturers look into giving us a new kit with recessed rivets and panel lines, more surface details and better fit.
